This may be something you get done for you at your local bike store (Bike Remedy) during a service. However if you have not had your bike serviced in a while and have not inspected your cables you may find yourself suffering a broken cable when out on a ride.

if you carry cable with you these can easily be replaced, and this is a skill worth learning. Please note gear and brakes cables are different, so if unsure again your local bike store will be happy to advise and sell you these.

This may look a little tricky but we recommend this is something you learn.
